Following the Isolation Tour and the Isolation Tour, guitarist Steve Lukather decided to bring an additional keyboardist and vocalist. They sat down with a variety of musicians including Fergie Frederiksen, but ultimately settled on Joseph Williams.
In the year 2018, Toto released a new album titled Old Is New and embarked on a world tour to promote it.
