Albums
Toto's discography comprises 13 studio albums and 4 live albums. There are also a few compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.
Before the formation of Toto, band members did session work for other musicians. David Paich, the son of session drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all played on Boz Scaggs’ 1975 album Silk Degrees. The group's collaboration led to formation of Toto in 1976.
